Our complete off-grid solar power system [OGK-8] will power just about anything you need. With a 4,000 watt split phase (120/240V) inverter included, this kit is powerful enough to run lights, fridge, workshop, tv, well-pump and more!

The kit comes with just about everything you need making installation and setup very easy. If you're looking for a simple off-grid solar kit, this 12V system is the perfect option. The 400 Watts of solar panels can easily be added to and the 4,000 watt 120/240V inverter will power just about anything you throw at it!

When it comes to needing 240V output, most off-grid kits only include a 120V inverter which is not able to handle things like a 240V well-pump for example. By going with a kit that gives you both 120V and 240V output, you'll be in a much better position when it comes time to versatility and growing or expanding your system in the future! This is one of the only small off grid solar kits that CAN handle 240V output to run things like a well-pump.

Kits include just about everything you need however you'll need your own installation tools and grounding rods/wire as well as optional safety components like current surge limiters. We also highly recommend getting professional installation by a certified solar installer and/or master electrician.

What Can This Off Grid Solar Kit Actually Power? 

OGK-8 has 2 x 200ah AGM batteries giving you 200ah of useable battery capacity. This equates to rough 2.3kWh of useable battery bank on top of the 400 watts of solar panels that will be generating an additional 1kw of power per hour while the sun is shining.  If we assume there's roughly 6 good sun hours in most states, the solar panels will produce around 2.4kw of power each day (or 72kw/month).

We really only need 15-18 hours of battery bank storage in order to get us through the night and to when the sun comes back up the next day, so anything over and above this would be considered backup for cloudy days.

OGK-8 is perfect for well-pump backup, small off-grid cabins, home backup, or for basic RV system / mobile business applications.
