The Primus Windpower AIR Breeze is a quiet and efficient wind turbine. All Primus wind turbines have been subject to extensive third party testing and certification. The reputation of the Air Breeze wind turbine is well known among sailors around the world. Built with corrosive resistant material it provides wind energy in marine and challenging environments. We recommend AIR Breeze wind turbine for all small battery-charging applications in coastal areas or offshore: boats, docks and other marine uses. It is the ideal wind turbine for hybrid systems with solar to offset those cloudy or stormy periods. This turbine has been coated with white paint to offer additional resistance to corrosion.

The stop switch is included in all marine wind turbines in order to stop vibrations in the boat whenever is needed, for example at night. The Primus wind turbines come with a built-in charge controller with a factory preset voltage to operate in 12, 24 and 48 Volt DC systems. The default voltage set points are optimal for most deep-cycle batteries commonly used in renewable energy systems. However, the factory values can be field adjusted to accommodate the charge set points for special battery technologies.

All Primus marine models include an green LED light visible at the bottom of the turbine's body. The LED light will be solid when the turbine is producing energy. A slow flashing means the turbine is in regulation mode, which is when the turbine spins slowly but no energy is being produced. A fast flashing means the winds are strong and the turbine has entered overspeed protection.
