Note: Every solar system installation is different. While this kit contains almost everything you need, you will have to provide some of your own materials. For example, you may want to purchase some wire nuts for splicing wire (you may or may not need to splice wire depending upon your installation). You may also need to upgrade your kilowatt-hour meter or add an additional meter if your local electrical code requires it.

The REC N-Peak 2 Series are premium n-type mono solar panels using REC’s proven half-cut cell technology. The panel features the innovative REC ‘Twin’ cell layout design, where the panel is split into two twin sections, also enabling continued energy production, even when partially shaded. The REC N-Peak 2 Series has extra support bars across the rear of the panel, greatly boosting its strength and durability, and allowing loads of up to 7000 Pa.

The SolarEdge Power Optimizer is a device that attaches directly to your solar module and uses MPPT technology to optimize the DC power before sending it to the inverter. The Power Optimizer is very similar to a microinverter. However, the Power Optimizers do not actually invert the DC power to AC power. The optimizers allow you to see system performance and diagnostics at the module level, similar to a microinverter, yet they last much longer due to the type of electronics used in the device
