Our 5 Panel SW-38 Solar Water Heating Kit comes with all the parts needed to install your solar water heater system on your house or cabin. As with all our systems they connect directly to your existing water heater and don't interfere with existing source of heat ( gas or electric). This way you can enjoy hot water even during long cloudy periods. Using our newly designed SW-38 Solar Water Heater Panels you can simply thread the panels together. No more external connection pipes for multi panel installations. Each panel weighs slightly over 12lbs and is 24" but can still provide you with ample hot water. You can begin your system with a few panels and more if you need more. With this kit you do not have to solder at all.

Each kit comes with:

• Your selected quantity of SW-38 Solar Water Heating Panels
• ALL the fittings and adapters you need
• 1 Bottom Feed Connector
• 1 TopsFlo TD5 stainless steel pump
• 1 10W PV Panel including wire and PV mounting kit
• Instructions for Installation-Single Row
• Instructions for installation-Double Row

All You have to supply is:

• Fasteners to attach the panels
• Tubing or Pipe to connect the panels to the tank
• Insulation for the tubing
• Your existing water heater
• Tools needed for installation

This product fits any existing water heater with a “boiler drain” near the bottom. This includes almost all gas and electric powered residential units.

Please Note – Will NOT work with Marathon Non Metallic (Plastic) Water Heaters.

How Many Panels Do I Need? Standard, Beach and Freeze Protected Kits

Find your location on the map below. Use the table to approximate the amount of panels you will need for optimal efficiency. 

If your panels are more than 25 ft from your water heater(50 ft total run), we recommend adding an extra panel. Extra panels can always be added after your installation is complete.
