Description
The Audi e-tron is the first fully electric car from Audi launched recently in North America. E-tron is designed to be a specific electric vehicle range with Audi trying to break away from their previous alphabet and number naming convention for their models. The Audi e-tron is based on the e-tron quattro concept that was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It has an EPA range of 204 miles (328 km), or 222 miles (357 km) in the updated model. The Sportback variant has 218 miles of EPA range and entered production in early 2020. The Audi e-tron is powered by a large 95 kWh battery. In the U.S. a 40A 9.6kW level 2 charger provides the optimum charge speed. Level 1 chargers can be used but given the size of the battery could take 12 hours + to charge depending on your plug outlet. At EV chargers, we provide a range of Audi e-tron chargers and recommend a NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 6-50 level 2 J1772 charger for the fastest charging speed for your Audi e-tron. They both charge at the maximum AC charging speed available in a domestic household
