400MLQPG10-BK is a model that uses a number of technologies to bring durability and performance to the next level. 400MLQPG10-BK employs monocrystalline silicon — the most efficient material for converting sunlight into electricity. Each of the model's 132 solar cells consists of a single crystal, unlike cheaper polycrystalline cells that are made of multiple crystals melted together. As a result, not only are monocrystalline panels more efficient, but they are also more resistant to degradation. To further boost the performance, Q CELLS employs half-cut cell technology. Each of the panel’s 132 cells is only half the size of a traditional solar cell. This grants 400MLQPG10-BK lower resistive losses and better shade tolerance. At 20.4% efficiency, 400MLQPG10-BK offers surprising performance for its weight and size. Cell surface, back foil and frame are completely black, giving the model unrivaled aesthetics. Q CELLS paid as much attention to durability as they did to performance. 400MLQPG10-BK is guaranteed to retain at least 86% of output after 25 years. Product warranty for this panel lasts 25 years.
