At 21.9% efficiency, REC Alpha 405W offers surprising performance for its weight and size.

The innovations made the appearance of the REC 405 solar panel as impressive as the specs. A mere 1.2" thick, this model is completely black, without any visible busbars or gaps. This beauty doesn’t require sacrifice: the panels are lead-free and carry a reduced carbon footprint. Nor is it short-lived: REC offers 20 years of product warranty and guarantees 92% of original performance after 25 years of operation.

REC405AA guarantees the highest power output. HJT technology and potent antireflective coating result in 21.9% module efficiency. The model has a power tolerance of ±3%.

Excellent performance in adverse weather

Low temperature coefficient means greater energy production at high operating temperatures. REC 405 Alpha Pure loses just 0.26% of efficiency for every 1.8°F above 77°F.

A panel that can handle hail, wind and snow

The 1.2" frame made from anodized aluminum alloy and a layer of protective tempered glass make this module resistant to the foulest of weather. The front side of the modules can resist a 7000 Pa load, and the back side 4000 Pa, according to REC 405W spec sheet.
